Eric Sharp combines a conscientious mindset with unshakable musical passion. As a DJ, Eric
has brought his own style of intelligent, sophisticated, somatic house music comfortably to
intimate private parties, club nights, and massive festivals alike, with notable shows including
Coachella, Outside Lands, Splash House, Amsterdam Dance Event, Symbiosis Gathering, and
nearly a decade of shows at LA’s prestigious Sound Nightclub. With his personal productions
and songwriting, Eric has expanded his impact beyond simply a purveyor of taste and into a true creator.
In 2013, Sharp signed to Win Music (home of Duke Dumont, Tiga, and more) and released his
EP “Sharp Cuts.” Fronted by vocals from Anna Lunoe and others, the release of these songs
cemented Eric as a true artist. He continued to build upon this foundation with remixes for
Atlantic Records' Melanie Martinez, Major Lazer's Jillionaire, and Grammy winners Jars Of Clay.
His track ‘Let Me Down Easy’ also appeared on Toolroom Records via Doorly’s compilation album.
2018 saw Eric's music reach new heights, smashing previous plateaus with the release of his
Eric Sharp & Friends EP via Little Assembly. His productions remained widely lauded in press,
with Take This Time holding the #1 spot on Hype Machine for 3 days and Too Much also hitting
the top 20. These tracks have also seen multiple sync placements via Netflix and Fox, including
season 3 of the hit show Emily In Paris. In 2019 Eric released Monday Blues via Sweden’s
House Music With Love imprint, again topping Hype Machine and amassing over 1.9M Spotify
streams. He also released his single ‘Love The Rain’ via France’s legendary Kitsuné Musique.
Most recently, Sharp emerged from COVID lockdowns with an arsenal of new work, showcasing
a melodic house sound starting off with his Emergence EP that saw spins across KCRW, Sirius
XM, Insomniac Radio, and more. This was followed by the release of Waking Dreams on Bijou’s
Do Not Duplicate imprint, with a highlight remix by Tim Baresko. His first single of 2023 ‘Red
Room’ was offered on European staple Sirup Music, and made its way into selector’s crates
across the globe. Eric has continued to build DJ momentum as well, recently performing in
direct support of acts like Dirty South, Marsh, Eelke Kleijn, CID, and Nora Van Elken
in addition to returning to Splash House this summer.
